Go Pro Camera @ Go Kart Racer

Took the camera out and mounted it on my helmet... I got 4th place overall, had a couple of crashes passed a few people, lapped David a couple of times, gave him the bird. Tell T-Boned me hard and you can see it in the video, David slid out of a turn cause he sucks, and then as I came into the turn I tried to avoid him, then Telly couldn't slow down either...

Turn your sound all the way up, the camera was on low volume to avoid distortion, and the music is edited so that it is not at max volume... enjoy

Go Pro Camera Test

So I found this on the internet and showed Matt, he wanted it so we ordered it. 5mp camera and a video camera. with a near 2 hour battery life on 2 triple A's and up to 56min of continous recording its pretty awesome (also takes stills every 2 or 5 secs). Comes with mounting hardware, suction cup, a water proof case. It has sound but on this vid, I had it on the wrong setting. It was short and the battery died, I had to add some stuff to it.

yes it is small compact but pretty cool.

On another note, problems with the RX7, I will update as soon as I can.

The Debut.... dun dun dun!

Good evening, or morning in this case. With pretty much everything done on the RX7 it made its debut tonight. With a crowd at Tap Ex celebrating the life of Daisuke Kaneko, may he rest in peace, Matt rolled up to a shocked crowd. He parked gave it a little rev, ok it sounded larger than a little, a fan club came walking up. Today the headlights went on and rain x, because wipers don't work still. Few things need to be addressed: power steering, aiming of the headlights, wipers, side skirts, exhaust, and some interior pieces...oh and this...

... we also put Spencer's hard top on... what a P.I.T.A... I don' even want to think about it...

On a lighter note

Its hard to think about the recent chain of events, but life will go on. I visited the make shift memorial today, ran into some familiar faces. It is amazing to see the lives that were impacted by the loss of Daisuke. Makes you ask your self, how do you want to be remembered? Anyways, Daisuke's funeral will be held on Saturday in Redwood City, info can be found http://youmakemefat.blogspot.com <--- Dai's little sister. Come and celebrate the life this wonderful person.

To shift our attention a couple of little setbacks on the RX7.

Exhaust is, for the most part, on. Wheels are on and Matt is waiting for the bumper and lip kit to be painted

Radiator set up has been changed, above is the new one

New carbon fiber K&N filter
New set up above and old one is below

The build has run into hood clearance issues and battery location issues. Power steering is still not running. Matt needs a radiator cap, Big brakes still need to go on. The car is running, so that is not an issue. I will probably make another vid soon, so stay tuned...

RIP Daisuke Kaneko

Sad news today, at 3:15PM a friend of everyones died in a motorcycle accident on Millbrae Ave and Rollins RD. Daisuke Kaneko was pronounced dead on the scene. From what I have read on the BARF forum, he was clipped by a car or he clipped a car (unsure). then hit by a truck. It is still unreal to me. I saw him on Saturday at Tapioca Express, just joking around telling Filipino jokes. I really do not know what to think. No matter how you know a Dai, or how you met him, whether you have known him for a long time or a short while, he has made some kind of lasting impression on people. Daisuke was a very nice, polite, sincere guy. I for one will not forget him.

RIP Daisuke Kaneko
